Mini Sessions of 2021!
Mini Sessions are back!
Hello!
Well, it’s been a crazy busy summer with my daughter being home a lot, juggling her with so many photo sessions (thank you to all those who booked, I am forever grateful that you chose me), followed by a slow introduction to school (this is a good thing).
I feel like I've blinked and the summer has gone!
However...
...I can now happily report that my mini sessions are back!
First up…Pumpkins!
These were so popular the first year that I did them and I can see why. So many beautiful autumn colours and so much fun actually choosing your pumpkins to take home and carve.
These are completely natural portraits. I simply ask your child/ren to go and choose a pumpkin. I will perhaps ask you all to pose as a family towards the end, but you won’t hear me asking your little one to look at me and smile. The best photos are the ones where they are completely oblivious to the world around them and happy with their task.
The dates are still pending on these I’m afraid...I’m waiting for the farm to confirm within the next few weeks, then I will send out the big announcement! They usually coincide with the school holidays, so I’m hoping they do the same this year.
Glitter
These are also super fun...and messy! I hold my glitter sessions at my home studio in St Andrews Ridge (and spend forever finding glitter everywhere for years after lol).
Due to the number of tiny bits of glitter getting thrown into the air, I would recommend that children are old enough to follow instructions to avoid it getting into their eyes, etc. I have bigger confetti for smaller children, but they must be able to sit unaided and past the eating-everything-they-can-get-their-hands-on stage. This is purely for health and safety reasons.
These sessions are structured in a similar way to the pumpkin minis, we will be throwing glitter about and I will be taking photos while they're in their own little world of play. I will occasionally be asking them to look at me, but it will mostly be of them playing with the glitter.
The date for these sessions will be Saturday 13th November
Christmas - Studio
Now, I wasn’t going to do Christmas this year for so many reasons, but I have been hounded by you all to do them anyway, so I will be offering just one day to appease you lol. I must admit, it is great to feel wanted :)
These will be 30 minutes long and be held in my home studio in St Andrews Ridge. These will be more posed rather than play and will be perfect for your Christmas cards this year!
The date will be: Friday 29th October
Christmas - Outdoor
Again, this is the same as above. I have booked a couple of families in for an outdoor Christmas shoot, similar to last year. I will be making a big Christmas wreath for the children to sit in or in front of though and it’s going to be in the woods with huge pine trees, so the photos will be beautiful.
The spaces will be limited to just one day, so please do book in quickly to avoid missing out.
The dates will be: Saturday 6th November
