Christmas Crafting Ideas

I’m doing my best to get into the festive spirit and sometimes when you have a little one*, like me, the only way to do this is to get crafting. Particularly as we’re spending so much more time indoors because of the weather and the dreaded Covid.

Entertainment for little ones can be tricky unless you’re willing to give up and stick them in front of the TV or iPad for an hour!

I’ve put together a little Christmas Crafting board on my Pinterest account which is full of wonderful ideas to get busy with your hands over the festive period.

Take this festive snow globe in an old mason jar – not only crafty but good to reuse and recycle:

There are also so many fun bauble ideas, like these handprint Rudolph the reindeers with googly eyes – who doesn’t love stick on googly eyes?

Of course, there is always the option that I can make a Christmas bauble for you – half of the funds for which go to Addy’s Batten’s Disease Adventure – these are just £10 and available to order up until Christmas Eve.

Another one of my favourites is a bit of an old school way to ‘Elf Yourself’ as long as you don’t mind chopping up an old photograph or perhaps taking some quick snaps and printing them from your phone.

Whatever you’re into, I’ve pulled together my favourite on this Pinterest board. Have fun and get crafty this festive season!

*You don’t have to have a little one, sometimes there’s nothing I like more than putting my feet up with a cuppa and crafting away after Thea has gone to bed! So some of the ideas are very adult friendly!
